At Vanderbilt Vines, Everybody’s Family!
Tucked away in the heart of Northern Michigan, Vanderbilt Vines is a family-owned winery built on a passion for the land, community, and the craft of winemaking. Our roots run deep, blending heritage with innovation to create exceptional wines that reflect the beauty of our region.
We’re excited to share our journey with you and welcome you to experience the warmth of our vineyard. Whether you’re sipping with friends, exploring our estate, or simply enjoying a bottle at home, we invite you to become part of the Vanderbilt Vines family.

Our Michigan Made Wine
At Vanderbilt Vines, we take pride in showcasing the exceptional quality of Michigan-grown grapes, crafting wines that truly reflect the character of our region. Every vine in our vineyard is carefully nurtured to produce fruit of the highest quality, ensuring that each bottle tells a story of dedication, craftsmanship, and the land itself. By embracing sustainable farming practices and working closely with award-winning winemaker Matt Killan, we transform our estate-grown grapes into wines that capture the essence of Northern Michigan.

Meet the Atkins Family
Dwayne and Pat Atkins, the dedicated owners of Vanderbilt Vines, have turned their vision into reality, transforming their land into a flourishing vineyard. With unwavering passion and the support of family and friends, they have spent the past six years cultivating over 4,000 grapevines, laying the foundation for a winery that celebrates hard work, heritage, and the beauty of Northern Michigan.

Can I Bring My Dog?
We’re not just wine lovers—we’re dog lovers too! While our vineyard is a welcoming place for your furry friends, we kindly ask that all dogs remain outside the tasting facility. Feel free to bring your leashed pup along to enjoy the outdoor spaces while you sip and savor. After all, what’s better than a great glass of wine and a happy, tail-wagging companion by your side?
